Mugler RTW Spring 21

Mugler’s Ready to Wear Spring 2021 runway show highlights sultry silhouettes, with eclectic textures for the modern day glamour girl.

The runway presentation debuted via Youtube on Wednesday and when watching, viewers did not want it to end! The garments were impeccable, but the show gave us a futuristic perspective on structured, yet provocative womenswear. The show featured icons Dominique “Elektra” Jackson, Hunter Schafer, Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk, amongst others.

Mugler did an amazing job showcasing various body types, while straying from the traditional black and white aesthetic most fashion houses stick with. There was movement, there was intensity, and inclusivity. The soundtrack gave the presentation a futuristic, bad ass momentum and still kept the attention on the garments. The best part was Dominique’s ending catwalk in Thierry Mugler’s staple cut out bodysuit. A job well done!

Overall the collection was standard featuring many of Mugler’s design staples: sheer cut out bodysuits, glittery mesh dresses, and structured blazers.
